Daniel A. Spendolini

Photographer Dan Spendolini can usually be found in New England's countryside searching for the unique and beautiful to capture with his viewfinder. Greatly preferring the qualities of morning light, especially at dawn, he is usually in place with his equipment before 5:00 AM.

Dan’s deep appreciation for the Northeast's natural beauty and the talents of its residents means that there is no limit to the potential subjects of his artistic photographs. He has earned numerous awards for his work, with subjects that include wildlife, landscapes, water scapes and architecture. His dramatic photograph of a working combine in a cornfield was selected by the Photography Society of Rhode Island, PSRI,  as the 2011 Image of the Year, Digital Projection Class AA. Recently, Dan's photo of a North Conway steam train  was selected  by the Photography Society of Rhode Island, PSRI, as the 2014 Image of the Year. A former businessman and Airedale Terrier breeder, Dan has honed his skills as a photographer for more than 40 years.
